The JYR 7026 Student Cello is the starting point of our cello collection, created for students taking their serious steps in cello playing. Built with care and attention found throughout our workshop,brings together traditional craftsmanship,carefully selected materials, and a balanced setup in a cello made to grow with the player.

Selected spruce and naturally seasoned maple form the foundation of a warm, balanced tone. Traditional handcrafting, careful varnishing, and professional adjustment allow the cello to respond naturally under the bow with clarity, stability, and ease of play.

• Varnish: Oil and spirit based
• Pegs/Tail piece: Ebony
• Fingerboard: Fine ebony
• Soundpost: Selected spruce
• Top: Narrow grain spruce
• Back: Aged European two piece maple, seasoned for 5+ years
• Bridge: Hand-carved Despiau, Aubert, Teller or Lide Bridge depending on luthier's choice.
• Strings:We select from Pirastro, Larsen, Dominant ect. The strings chosen might differ depending on the characteristics of each instrument.

Ready to Play Out of the Box:All cellos are fully set up before shipping. You only need to tune the strings after receiving and start playing.
